As most of you know, I'm moving out on my own. I'll be staying in my own apartment near Danforth & Coxwell (downtown Toronto) to attend Ryerson University. So, I really won't have time to be updating this anytime in the near furture... maybe around holidays, though I doubt it will be a priority.

(Yesterday was my 18th Birthday, whoo. It was awesome, I think I smoked myself sober by the end of it :) thanks to all you guys that stoped by.)

Wow, let me start this one off by saying how much the emo-mullet makes me want to blow chunks. I know it's been said before ...but, the mass numbers of "scene" kids walking around with highlighted trailer trash cuts make me want to bust my gut, seriously. Hahahaa... oh, I can't help but laugh, they bring it upon themselves. Much like how people who live off fast food deserve to be obese.

Annnnnnnywho, I finally got back fro my NYC/Boston trip. Pictures pictures pictures. None of them are all that good or interesting, except maybe Alanna in the ridiculous crap hat. It looks almost as tacky as the e-mullet. Infact, just so there is no confusion as the what exactly a mullet is, I will provide a link to mullets galore so you can come to the sad terms of realizing your sporting one of the most unflattering cuts ever invented by a red-necked barber.

So, it was a logn ride back.. oh yeah, & I had to deal with hiding my pipe in various places when we crossed the border, that was stressful... and I annoyed Alanna because I would blowdry my hair early in the morning, and we were accused of robbery, and a multitude of other not so important things. I got the "Cannabis Handguide" which covers everything from recipes to cultivation, paraphernalia and history... I have a pic of it later.

Ladies and gents, you've probably seen it before, but it's nowhere near as cool as when you dice up 3 apples trying to make it the first time: the apple pipe. Best part, if the pigs show up, you just eat it :) I found that the V-shaped hole worked alot better than the straight-through one. (One hole from the top, half-way through, then carve another hole 90degrees into it.)

gah, to be completely honest I am currently blitzed out of my mind. Just got back from chillin' at Alysha's since we didn't feel like going to school (me & amy ran into the VP on our way back and she was like "Where were you girls last period?!" and was thinking, 'last period... try all day.' Chilled with my girls Amy & Lauren last weekend. We talked and drank some beers up in the rafters of this unfinished house. I had a dream last night that me & my family were staying at this cabin, and there was a horrible flood & all our stuff got washed away- even the toilets! So then i had to go look in the ocean for my luggage & mp3player & the toilet. Then i found it and my mum was like, "well if you want to use it, you'd better re-attach it & make sure it flushes alright!"

I'm SO fucking mad I missed the Robin Black concert! ARRRGGGGG!!!! x5828292.72!!!!!

Just hotboxed and mellowed out... me & Amy did a few lines at the GO station after picking up Terry... went by TacoMan's house & he gave us a crapload of alcohol because it was my birthday & all. (all these pics are kind'a crappy, I didn't get a chance to take any at my house... only a short vid of us chilling in my room, "as you can see, Canada is a fun place to live.")

Whoever thought I'd ever have a job? (well, a legal job anyway) I applied at Whimpy's Dinner in downtown Whitby, told the manager I was Greek, and got hired. Only working weekend now though :P cash is cash.

Aug. 18-22: portfolio prep courses at Sheridan in Toronto. That’s me, Natalie, alone in the heart of the city, with every drug available at my fingertips. GO train anyone?

After the parade, we blow bubbles all the way to the subway, and Caitlin found $5 (which is 25 cents US) and a condom. then blew more bubbles once we were on the subway (so when the doors opened to let us off, all these bubbles went floating out) and then met up with Lauren's mom's friend. She was this Jamaican woman who had AMAZING food! I think it was curry potatoes and some sort of bread... whatever, it was so good!

So today was really great. If only i could get the images of all the withered, saggy body parts out of my head. (haha, too bad Lauren missed that part.)

June 1:
Amy & Caitlin slept over... it was very, VERY ...funny. I was on my acid and they were on shrooms.
The night started out with a power outage - not funny when it's pitch black outside & you're peaking on lsd.
Lights come back after a few min.s of me freaking out and crying that a giant was going to smash through the window and eat us. Then, we went to the park and I saw dead children cry & clinging to the swings, and shadows rising up from the tree tops. (Reminded me of Fantasia, when the devil guy rises from the mountain.) Caitlin became a willow tree. Amy mastered the art of trashing people's mailboxes. We all went to Mount Shanawna... it was very muddy... and very pathetic. I stood in the middle of the muddy field screaming, "Why?! Why won't the paint stop sticking to meeeee!" Because I thought I was inside a painting.
Then I went home and actually painted; the whole time I saw a little gremlin creeping up behind me and staring and mocking me with it's eyes. I kept saying, "Stop! Stop looking at me! I can SEE you!" -5 min.s of silence- Amy, who I didn't even know was sitting behind me, says softly, "Sorry man.. I didn't know it was bugging you...." LMFAO.

I saw a man have a heat attack, today in the waiting room of the hospital.

I know this is not a very intense sort of thing, but just seeing it play out right in front of you makes it seems so real. It was real. It was odd because he had gotten his blood pressure taken right before me. His friend was with him, both wearing sports jackets (obviously, they weren't going to be at the Super Bowl party) and they sat in the chairs opposite me. At the time, I was listening to Rage Against the Machine, and I glanced over to the man. All of a sudden his eyes rolled back in his head and he slumped forward in his chair. It all seemed so surreal... and I couldn't process what he was doing. Then he fell forward out of the chair, hard onto his knees. Only the seat of the chair was supporting his head, so it looked like he had fallen to his knees, face to the sky and eyes closed... like he was in prayer.

I stood up and his friend called the nurse over with a wheel chair. I couldn't say anything; it was like my feet were glued to the ground. The nurse wasn't strong enough to lift the man up, and I wanted to help but she said she needed a bigger, stronger man. Finally, the friend pushed the guy's limp body into the chair and he was whisked out of the room, his head slouched over the back of the chair and his arms dangling at his sides.

→ I feel awful saying this... but I want to paint the incident. I feel the same as that time I had to scrub all the blood off Jack's shower because of what they did to that prostitute. Except this time, I absorbed every little detail because I was sober.

Once Shannon and Amy left, I passed/flaked out on my bed and put on some really fast, loud jazz. Why? Holy fuck, why not?! This shit was SO strong. It closed my eyes and it was like I was tripping. If you think Pink Floyd's an experience, you should listen to some madd old school jazz. It was like this movie going on in my head to the music, but there were no defined figures, just abstract shapes & colours. (Holy fuck Syd: I think you're the only one who knows the song I was listening to: opening theme to Cowboy Bebop. Blasting.)

Once I was completely dizzy and burnt, I called Syd who was at her college class. I'm sorry I had to bug her with my stupid, mindless babble while she was eating her Reeses, but I think I amused her somewhat. [Hopefully, ha.]

Today's final was Fashion.
Caitlin came over to ~~get high~~ study at 8:30am (since the final didn't start until 12:30, and buses were on school schedule.)

She said I was crazy for never having actual Greek food (I'm a quarter Greek, and she grew up on the Danforth - Greek City.) Even though I didn't eat the squid, I still thought it was amazing. We had dessert to go and got stoned later that night. I think I smoked twice as much as her though, because I was fucked! We conked out on my bed, then I had this dream/hallucination that I was holding a big fruit basket. But then Cailin turned into a monkey and ran up to me like, "I am a monkey! nah! Give me a banana!" and I was like "No! You can't have one! Have a cherry, it's smaller!" "Give me the banana!" and out loud I said, "NO!" striking out my arm and smacked Cailin (who was half-asleep) in the forehead. She was like, "Wh... What the fuck?" and I was like -serious face-"Give me the banana." And then I realized it was really her (not a monkey), and that I was really fucked. And we laughed. And it was all good. And my fruit basket was safe.
After that, we watched "Darkness Falls". Which would have normally sucked, but we were soo fucked at the beginning that it seemed really terrifying. Then I cried to turn on the lights - but we where both too stoned/scared to risk it (stay in the light!) So, we sat holding each other & screaming under the blankets for several minutes before I jumped up and flicked them on. Which would have been alot more heroic and graceful, if I had not had the blankets tangled around my ankles and smashed my face into the wall.
I love horror movies. They're so much scarier when you're high.

+ Canadia has pulled yet an other fucked up thing on me. Since semester testing is after Christmas, we have 3 weeks of hell where all the teachers load up these projects and tests (on subjects you don’t' even remember) on you to guarantee you'll be busy all period; so they can sit on their ass and enjoy your agony as you read over the 15 billion projects you have due in 3 days. Fuck ISU's. What the hell does that stand for anyway? Insure Student Ulcers?!

Hey everyone, I've decided to switch accounts. Deal with it *muwah*

News:
+ my dad has been visiting from ATL for 3 weeks now... and I'm on the brink of insanity.
+ I went snowboarding (for the first time... ever.) Tuesday with my cousins. My back and knees are COVERED in bruises, and I pulled some muscles in my upper arms. [embarrassing blonde story #1] I did not want to go on the chairlift (because I still sucked), but Lucas & Eric convinced me to. So... me and Luke are on one seat adn I'm freaking out the whole way up (not about falling) "How'm I gonna get off?! What if I don't get off in time?" And he's like "chill, just do what i do and keep your board like this... I can't believe you smoke weed. I thought I was the only one in the family." "What do you mean 'like this'?! ...yeah, I have for a while, I... Oh my freakin' God, I'm not going to be able to do this!" And so, Luke lands off the chair easily, I slip off and fall on my knees - then I stand up & turn slightly, thinking "oh, that wasn't too bad" then-SMACK! The metal bar from the chair lift hits me right in the face and I fall back over. Thankfully, I was not wearing the helmet I was told too... the bar hit my goggles instead... wtfever.

+ Wednesday we had freezing rain and I got soaked going to school. Me and Cassie slid (literally) on the icy sidewalk all the way to school. We had to dodge huge minivans on ice and other people that kept falling down. [embarrassing blonde story #2] I walk into school with my hair plastered down to my face (the ends are iciclized and gel is running down my neck). I gracefully ignore people giving me the "nice hair" comments and give them the finger back. Walking into homeroom, my teacher laughs at me (as do others, because everyone knows how long I spend on my hiar) and he says "Good luck, you have HairStyling next." And not only was it hairstyling, but it was three young & pretty apprentices from Valetino (where I get my hair done- $85 a pop) So I tell everyone my sad story and they laugh at me & say I can borrow a blow drier and straightening iron (which I never had time to do *pout*)

A painting I'm working on [in a series]. The images are from a dream/trip I had. I inhaled this drug and I looked into the mirror: my face was translucent and I could see inside my head. But instead of a brain, I had a set of lungs that brightly glowed a neon blue. The butterflies are from a time I had drawn on my hand & I thought the pictures where coming to life and flying away. (obviously high times)
